When I was searching online I found some website have disabled copying text from website and copying Images form there site. Base on the press release by Apple, they admitted that a battery fault had led to a small number of its first generation iPod Nanos overheating. But the said problem was “rare”, occurring in 0.001% of devices sold between 2005 and 2006 adding there had been no serious injuries or damage.

This comment came after the Japanese government began investigating a possible battery defect in the Nano. There are two reports of the music players overheating in Tokyo, scorching nearby paper. Narrowing down which type of barcode scanner we are talking about is the first thing we have to do. There are many types of barcode scanners from laser scanners, CCD barcode scanners, imager type scanners, and more. Our first focus will be on how a CCD barcode scanner works.

Basically, CCD barcode scanner is a scanner that has no moving parts. CCD stands for Charged-Coupled Devise Scanner. The scanner has a light source that when pointed to an object or barcode, it illuminates that image. The image is usually a barcode. Once the barcode is illuminated, a reflection is created and the barcode scanner reads that image. This will work through the linear photodiode within the scanner head. This photodiode can read the reflected light off the lines on the barcode. This reflection is a digital image that is then scanned electronically within the devise.
